Expectations Still High for Lindland

Former Olympic silver medalist Matt Lindland rebounded from a pair of tough losses to win his bout against Kevin Casey Friday night in his hometown of Portland, Ore.
Lindland rebounded from a close first round to rough up Casey en route to a stoppage win late in the third frame.
In classic Lindland style, the 40 year-old smothered Casey with a relentless ground attack over the final two periods to score the victory.
Lindland spoke with Sherdog’s Greg Savage about his performance, where he fits into the middleweight division and how much longer he feels he wants to compete.
