Hunter Azure: A Debut with Little Pressure

After earning an Ultimate Fighting Championship contract in July -- on the Week 3 Episode of Dana White’s Contender Series -- Hunter Azure will make his Octagon debut on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 158. Although his first booking with the promotion happened sooner than he expected, the Legacy Fighting Alliance veteran expects a more enjoyable experience as he enters the cage as a major league fighter for the first time.

“There’s not as much pressure,” Azure told Sherdog when comparing his UFC debut to his appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. “Now I’ve got the contract. I’m going to go let loose. From what I hear, once you get in the octagon, and make that walk, it’s like the energy is way different. It’ll be fun. I’m just going to enjoy it.”
