Coming into tonight, fans were clamoring for UFC 47: It's On! as they were finally going to witness the ultimate (yes, that pun was intended) grudge match. Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell were scheduled to face each other after months upon months of an intense build up of what could be the most important fight in UFC history.
It's safe to say that Genki Sudo is back and with a vengeance. Showing no ill effects of his heart-breaking and controversial loss to Duane Ludwig way back at UFC 42, Genki was able to dispose of Mike Brown in the first round. As Genki, sporting a flashy gold and black Japanese suit during the cagewalk, confidently walked towards the Octagon, most knew that Mike Brown was in for a long night. Whoever thought that was correct as Genki forced Brown to tap at 3:31 of the first round thanks to an armbar from the triangle.
