A new bantamweight main event has been announced today for Combate Americas' June 7 card that takes place in Tucson, Arizona. Previously scheduled between Jose "Pochito" Alday and Irwin "The Beast" Rivera, Alday will now face Argentina's Juan Pablo "El Molo" Gonzalez (7-2-2). Alday (12-4-1) is a Tucson native and former world champion.

Announced for the co-main event slot is a lightweight bout between the 9-0 Rafa Garcia and the veteran Estevan Payan (17-12, 1 NC). Garcia, identified by Combate Americas as a "protege of MMA superstar Cub Swanson," has been on a tear since entering "La Jaula" in 2016.
