Kickboxing standout Joe Schilling will return to the MMA realm when he faces Keith Berry at Bellator 219.

The California-based promotion confirmed the middleweight pairing on Tuesday. Bellator 219 takes place at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calilf., on March 29 and is headlined by a lightweight clash between Saad Awad and Brandon Girtz. Schilling vs. Berry is slated for the evening’s main card.

Schilling returned to the cage for the first time in more than three years at Bellator 210, where he earned a first-round technical knockout victory against Will Morris on Nov. 30. “Stitch Em Up” owns a 3-5 career MMA record, including a second-round KO of Melvin Manhoef in November 2014.

A 31-fight veteran, Berry is winless in his last six contests dating back to 2013. The “KO Kid” last appeared on Golden Boy MMA’s debut card, where he was submitted in the opening round by Joseph Henle on Nov. 24. His last Bellator bout resulted in a majority draw with Kevin Casey in January 2017.
