One FC 17 Weigh-ins: Kosuke Suzuki, Adriano Moraes Cleared for Flyweight Headliner

A flyweight headliner between Kosuke Suzuki and Adriano Moraes will move forward as planned at One Fighting Championship 17, as both fighters were cleared to compete at Friday’s weigh-ins.

Suzuki tipped the scales at 125 pounds, while Moraes also checked in at 125. One FC 17 takes place at the at the Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, and streams live via online pay-per-view at

Sami Amin and Fransino Tirta were on point for their bantamweight co-main event clash, as both fighters weighed in at 134 pounds.

A member of the Constrictor Team, Moraes has been defeated just once in 11 professional appearances. Most recently, “Black Diamond” submitted Yasuhiro Urushitani with a rear-naked choke in the second round at One FC 14.

Suzuki enters the bout on a five-fight winning streak. The Shooto veteran last competed on Jan. 13, when he captured a unanimous verdict over Taku Kajikawa. “Rambo” has gone the distance in six of his 10 professional triumphs.
