To say Sage Northcutt had a rough One Championship debut would be an understatement.

“Fresh out of surgery….I had [eight] fractures and a nine hour intense operation,” Northcutt wrote. “Feeling blessed for the amazing care and all the support from [One Championship], my family/friends and fans! My Terminator face is not too shabby. ‘I’ll be back. Next post is catheter removal… stay tuned jk.”
Northcutt entered Friday’s bout on a three-fight winning streak, with all of those victories coming under the UFC banner. The 23-year-old owns an 11-3 career mark. A former Bellator competitor, Alexandre has won eight consecutive bouts, but his fight with Northcutt was his first MMA appearance in nearly three years.
