Trevor Smith vs. Elias Theodorou

Round 1

Theodorou ties up and feeds Smith an uppercut in the clinch, but "Hot Sauce" gives him three or four uppercuts to the body in return. The middleweights pummel for position on the fence, with Theodorou doing the better work inside with dirty boxing and knees to the midsection. Smith appears to feel the body shots, as he releases Theodorou momentarily and then clinches again, using his left arm to shield his breadbasket. Halfway through the round, the fight continues to be contested in the clinch. Theodorou releases and backs up to land an uppercut, then steps back to the center of the cage. Smith follows, but he walks into another knee from Theodorou, this one to Smith's jaw from the Thai plum. The final minute sees the 185ers back in the clinch, and Theodorou continues to do fine work with knees and uppercuts, effectively shutting down the wrestler Smith.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou

Round 2

Smith completes his first takedown of the fight in the opening minute of the round, but he can't keep Theodorou on the ground. The middleweights are soon back in the clinch, only this time Smith is finding more success with his inside boxing. Theodorou tries to use a whizzer to break loose, but Smith drops down and uses an ankle-pick to bring the Canadian to his knees. Theodorou eats a few left hands before climbing back to his feet. Smith eats a few more uppercuts, one of which dislodges his mouthpiece; referee Daniel Movahedi calls for a break to have it washed and replaced. When action resumes, Theodorou gets busy with punches in the clinch again, including one uppercut that seems to sting Smith. The clinch work slows down, however, and referee Movahedi separates the fighters. After a wild exchange of punches in the center, the fighters tie up again. A clash of heads splits Theodorou open above his left eye, but he's cleared to continue after a brief consultation with the cageside physician.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Theodorou
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou

Round 3

Theodorou hits Smith with a kick to the body, then follows through with a spinning backfist before circling out of range. Smith presses out from the center, chasing Theodorou around the outside. At one point, Theodorou turns his back to sprint away, and Smith gives him a hard kick across the back of his legs. After yet another clinch, Smith rips Theodorou away from the fence and takes him down in the center of the cage. Theodorou gets to his knees and nearly stands, but Smith uses a cradle to keep him grounded. Theodorou scoots over to the fence and stands, with Smith still clung to his legs. Smith gets flattened out, then gets on his knees and barely avoids having his back taken as he stands. Now it's Theodorou in the outside position of the clinch with just over one minute on the clock. The middleweights come back to the center of the cage with 10 seconds left, and Theodorou gets in one last clinch elbow.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Theodorou (30-27 Theodorou)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Smith (29-28 Theodorou)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Theodorou (30-27 Theodorou)

The Official Result

Elias Theodorou def. Trevor Smith via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) R3 5:00

Molly McCann vs. Gillian Robertson

Round 1

Robertson circles the outside in the opening minute, while McCann works from the center, both testing the range with jabs in the early going. Robertson strings together a two-piece, only to be popped back by McCann with a right hand. Robertson quickly grabs hold of a single-leg and puts McCann on the floor in the center of the cage. McCann shrimps inside, holding Robertson in half guard; Robertson looks to be framing up an arm-triangle choke as she works to advance position. The Canadian loses the choke but winds up in side control, now knee-on-belly position. Heavy top pressure yields full mount for Robertson, where she's able to land some solid ground-and-pound, and now McCann looks to be panicking. The Englishwoman gives up her back, then flips over again, and now reclaims half guard. Robertson threatens with an armbar, causing McCann to give up her back again. Robertson finishes the round working for a rear-naked choke.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Robertson
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Robertson
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Robertson

Round 2

Robertson goes after another takedown in the opening seconds of round two; McCann is able to deny the first shot, much to the delight of the Liverpool crowd. Robertson's next try yields a takedown, however, and one minute into the round, McCann finds herself mounted again. McCann turns over, Robertson takes the back with both hooks in, and the flyweights are right back where they left off in the first frame. Robertson keeps fishing for the rear-naked choke, finally snakes an arm around McCann's neck, locks up the RNC and squeezes tight. McCann goes to sleep almost instantly, and referee Neil Hall calls a stop to the fight.

The Official Result

Gillian Robertson def. Molly McCann via Technical Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) R2 2:05

Carlo Pedersoli Jr. vs. Bradley Scott

Round 1

Scott opens with a front kick to the body, then gets a jab in return from the southpaw Pedersoli. Pedersoli ducks into an exchange and comes over the top with a wrecking-ball right hand that only grazes Scott. Ninety seconds in, the Englishman is starting to taunt Pedersoli, waving for him to come forward and exchange. Pedersoli narrowly misses with a lightning-fast spinning kick; Scott does his best Dikembe Mutombo impression and wags his finger at the Italian. Scott lands a few low kicks, but soon finds himself on his back foot thanks to some hard push kicks from Pedersoli. The welterweights continue to strike from distance in the final minute, until a short left hook from Scott taps Pedersoli on the jaw. The leaping Pedersoli drops to the ground, where Scott follows up with another shot. Pedersoli jumps back to his feet, and now it's his turn to wag a finger in Scott's face. Pedersoli gets the last word with a left high kick that slaps Scott's cheek.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Scott
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Scott
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Scott

Round 2

Pedersoli aims several kicks at the head of Scott in the opening minute, but he's having trouble hitting the mark on the taller man. Scott's outstretched right hand pokes Pedersoli in the left eye, drawing a warning from referee Leon Roberts. Pedersoli doesn't want a break, and now he backs up Scott to the wall with a combination. A heavy body kick lands to Scott's midsection, and suddenly the Englishman looks to be on the defensive. A glancing overhand leaves Scott with a small cut underneath his left eye, and Pedersoli tacks on another hard body kick. Pedersoli goes to the body again, then upstairs with a left high kick which only slaps the side of Scott's head. Pedersoli is doing the better volume striking in the latter half of round two, but Scott continues to stick him with some hard jabs. With 25 seconds left, Pedersoli changes levels and plows Scott to the floor for a quick takedown that puts the Italian on top until the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli

Round 3

Prior to the start of the final round, referee Roberts warns both fighters for leaving the fingers on their lead hands outstretched, which led to an eye poke in round two. Both welterweights connect with jabs in the early going, and Pedersoli follows up with a heavy left kick to Scott's already bruised ribs. Pedersoli backs up Scott with a side kick to the midsection, then fires another left kick to Scott's body. Scott continues to flick his jab but is landing little else in the way of offense. Pedersoli hits another body kick, changes levels and scores his second takedown of the fight. This time, Scott is waiting with a guillotine choke attempt which forces Pedersoli to stand and abandon the position. The 170-pounders are back to striking with just under two minutes on the clock, and it's a familiar scene with Scott jabbing and Pedersoli mixing up kicks to the body and head. Pedersoli tries another takedown, but Scott uses a whizzer to scramble right back up. Pedersoli gets in deep on a single-leg and takes down Scott with 20 seconds left. The Italian slams Scott with a nice elbow strike from guard just before the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli (29-28 Pedersoli)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli (29-28 Pedersoli)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Pedersoli (29-28 Pedersoli)

The Official Result

Carlo Pedersoli def. Bradley Scott via Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) R3 5:00

Lina Lansberg vs. Gina Mazany

Round 1

Lansberg catches a kick from Mazany and hits the first takedown of the bout within the opening 30 seconds. Mazany springs back to her feet, and the bantamweights wind up clinching on the fence. Mazany reverses to the outside position and works for a single-leg of her own, kneeing the legs of Lansberg as they work on the fence. Two minutes in, Lansberg spins to the outside, pinning Mazany to the cage with an underhook. They spend another minute in a low-action clinch before separating. Lansberg lands a head kick which appears to wobble Mazany's legs. Lansberg may not have noticed, however, as the Swede comes inside to slow things down in another clinch. Inside the final minute, Lansberg hits Mazany with a level elbow, now a knee to the body. Mazany gets over-unders, creating a stalemate, and referee Marc Goddard splits up the fighters for the final 20 seconds of the round.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Lansberg
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Lansberg
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Lansberg

Round 2

Lansberg comes out grabbing for a leg and instead gets punched in the face. The "Elbow Queen" opts for another clinch instead, trapping Mazany on the wall with double underhooks. Mazany is the busier fighter in the clinch, albeit with short, sideways hammerfists to the body. Referee Goddard separates the fighters, and now it's Mazany's turn to try a takedown, which she easily completes. Lansberg posts and stands right away, and now the 135ers return to their familiar clinch. Lansberg has Mazany pinned to a cage post with double underhooks when referee Goddard separates the fighters again with half the round remaining. Lansberg lands a hard body kick but takes a right hand over the top from Mazany in return. Lansberg brings the fight back to the clinch, but Mazany reverses and takes down the Swede with a double-leg. Once again, Lansberg is able to stand with ease and trap Mazany on the fence. Lansberg lands an elbow over the top, takes a hard knee to the gut in return. Lansberg finishes the round with a pair of hard clinch knees.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Lansberg
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Lansberg
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Lansberg

Round 3

Lansberg quickly puts Mazany on the wall, holding her there for the better part of the opening minute. It's another stalemate, and referee Goddard separates the fighters once again. As soon as she's freed, Mazany tries to get busy with combination punching, now spins into Lansberg with a spinning elbow. Lansberg grabs hold of Mazany and traps her on the fence yet again. Mazany reverses to the outside with 2:10 on the clock and begins kneeing Lansberg's legs. Mazany separates, and the fighters are back to striking with 1:40 remaining. Mazany is starting to put together combinations, now pops Lansberg with a nice hook. The next time Mazany steps inside, Lansberg wraps her up and pushes her to the fence. Mazany is the busier fighter in the clinch, hitting Lansberg with short punches and knees, but it's Lansberg who finishes the fight in control, holding Mazany in a bodylock.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Mazany (29-28 Lansberg)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Lansberg (30-27 Lansberg)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Mazany (29-28 Lansberg)

The Official Result

Lina Lansberg def. Gina Mazany via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) R3 5:00

Tom Breese vs. Daniel Kelly

Round 1

The southpaws square off in the center, and Breese backs up Kelly with a three-piece combination which bounces off the Australian's gloves. Kelly takes a right hand to the face and appears to check his nose a few times before stepping forward again. Kelly tries to jab his way forward, but his punches are pulling up short against the taller man. Breese bounces on his toes, not terribly active with his offense, but landing at a higher clip than his opponent. Breese catches Kelly leaning forward and connects with a hard lead left uppercut. Kelly stands up for a second before a delayed reaction kicks in, and the Aussie clutches his left eye with both hands. Kelly turns his back and takes a few steps away, then turns back and tries to cover up as Breese assaults him on the fence. Kelly can't defend himself, dropping to the ground under Breese's heavy fire, and referee Daniel Movahedi calls a stop to the contest.

The Official Result

Tom Breese def. Daniel Kelly via TKO (Punches) R1 3:33

Eric Spicely vs. Darren Stewart

Round 1

Spicely tries an early clinch and gets shoved away by Stewart, who follows with a left hand to the body. Stewart backs up Spicely with a jab and narrowly misses with a whipping left hand behind it. Spicely gets in his first hard shot of the fight with a straight right hand to the side of Stewart's head. "Zebrinha" immediately hustles Stewart backward to the fence, now works to entangle the Englishman's legs and trip him to the floor. Stewart busts out of the clinch with a pair of punches, and the middleweights come back to the center with 2:15 on the clock. Spicely looks to be waiting on the puncher Stewart to throw power strikes, but Stewart instead presses forward with jabs. Spicely, who's landed several hard leg kicks throughout the round, tacks on a few more in the final minute.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Spicely
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Stewart
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10

Round 2

Stewart connects with a few hard right hands in the opening minute, but Spicely stings him back with a stiff jab to the grill which forces the Englishman to step back. Another right hand crashes into Spicely's face, and this one has the American backpedaling. Spicely survives Stewart's brief follow-up attack, and the middleweights go back to circling. Stewart digs into the body of Spicely, then sends him staggering to the ground with a glancing jab on the nose. Stewart pounces on his dazed opponent and tries to pound him out, while Spicely tries to tie up "The Dentist" in his guard. After Stewart connects with a couple clean shots, Spicely gives up and rolls on to his side, covering up with both hands and effectively surrendering. Referee Leon Roberts has seen enough, too, and steps in to stop the fight.

The Official Result

Darren Stewart def. Eric Spicely via TKO (Punches) R2 1:47

Claudio Henrique da Silva vs. Nordine Taleb

Round 1

Silva goes straight to the clinch but can't keep hold of the larger Taleb, who also denies a single-leg attempt in the opening minute. Taleb lands a leg kick, then sends a right high kick slapping off Silva's gloves. Silva throws a body kick, but it's caught by Taleb and turned into a thunderous takedown. Silva gets straight back to his feet, only to be met by Taleb's right hand. Taleb tries a takedown of his own but can't get anywhere, and the welterweights are back to striking with three minutes on the clock. Silva dives on a double-leg from a mile out, gets underhooked by Taleb and kneed in the body before separating. Silva scores his first takedown of the fight, then finds room for some hard offense when Taleb gets caught rolling for a kneebar. Silva keeps Taleb on his side and delivers several hard punches to the face, then takes full mount. Taleb gives up his back, Silva secures the position with a body triangle, and it's only a matter of moments before Silva's right arm is wrapped around Taleb's neck. Silva goes palm-to-palm and squeezes hard on the Russian-style RNC. Taleb holds out for a few seconds, even giving a thumbs-up to referee Neil Hall, but ultimately has to tap.

The Official Result

Claudio Silva def. Nordine Taleb via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) R1 4:31

Makwan Amirkhani vs. Jason Knight

Round 1

Knight strikes first with a leg kick, and Amirkhani immediately throws his hands up to say it was nothing. Knight is the aggressor in the opening minute, attacking largely with kicks but also sticking a hard jab. Amirkhani swings back with a right hook that puts Knight in reverse. Amirkhani tries a flying knee and is taken down by Knight, but "Mr. Finland" sweeps straight to top position and sticks out his tongue at the American. Knight closes up a tight guard, so Amirkhani backs off and allows him to stand. Amirkhani lands the right hook again, now comes over the top with a left. Knight eats another right hook, tries to come forward swinging punches in return, but Amirkhani backpedals out of range. Knight explodes forward with a combination but only finds himself wrapped up and taken down. Amirkhani wants Knight back on his feet, where the Finnish fighter begins jawing at his bloodied opponent. Knight continues to connect with low kicks but is having trouble finding Amirkhani with his hands. Amirkhani whiffs on a lead uppercut and gets blasted by an uppercut from Knight. Amirkhani seems to be out cold, but he wakes up and shakes Knight as the American tries to jump on his back. Amirkhani stands up, only to be knocked down again, but he drives forward to put Knight on his back. Knight throws up rubber guard, then a triangle which looks tight. Knight rolls to a mounted triangle, but Amirkhani somehow slips out just before the horn.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Knight
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Knight
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Knight

Round 2

Amirkhani is still smiling at Knight as the second round begins, and Knight starts talking trash in return as they circle in the first minute. Amirkhani misses with a flying knee and narrowly dodges another uppercut from Knight, who's testing the Finn's reflexes with some feints and fakes. Knight lands a glancing right hand and gets Amirkhani's right hook to the jaw yet again. Halfway through the round, Amirkhani hits a takedown in the center of the cage. Knight switches between rubber guard and a body triangle from the bottom until Amirkhani stands over him. Amirkhani doesn't do anything from the Ali-Inoki position, so referee Marc Goddard orders Knight back to his feet. Amirkhani lands the right hook again, then instantly wraps up Knight for a bodylock takedown. Knight once again uses rubber guard to keep things tight on the ground. Knight tries to roll for a leg in the last 10 seconds and gets a hammerfist to the side of the head instead.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Knight
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Amirkhani
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Amirkhani

Round 3

Knight opens with a few leg kicks but can't defend a deep double-leg shot from Amirkhani. Once again, Knight uses rubber guard to neutralize any potential offense from Amirkhani in top position. Knight is also piling on the heel strikes to Amirkhani's body, while Amirkhani isn't able to do anything but maintain top pressure. Knight is looking for an armbar, but each time he commits to it, Amirkhani is able to shuck his legs and pass to side control. Amirkhani winds up in Knight's full guard with three minutes on the clock. There's not enough action on the ground for referee Goddard, who tells the fighters to stay busy. Goddard orders the fighters back to their feet with 2:10 remaining in the fight. Another heavy right hook from Amirkhani leaves Knight stumbling momentarily. It's enough time for Amirkhani to wrap up and take down the American at the base of the fence. Knight puts Amirkhani in full guard and again goes hunting for an armbar. Amirkhani has other ideas, slamming his right forearm into Knight's face. The pace on the ground remains sluggish due to Knight's rubber guard. Knight rolls to his knees, then back to his feet for a split-second before Amirkhani lands a knee and takes him down again.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Amirkhani (29-28 Knight)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Amirkhani (29-28 Amirkhani)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Amirkhani (29-28 Amirkhani)

The Official Result

Makwan Amirkhani def. Jason Knight via Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 27-30) R3 5:00

Arnold Allen vs. Mads Burnell

Round 1

The southpaw Allen strikes first with a hard left hand down the center, then pops Burnell with a jab. Burnell presses forward, trying to close the distance, but Allen keeps him at bay with long punches and stomping side kicks to the body. Burnell connects with a duck-in overhand right as he continues to chase Allen around the perimeter. Ninety seconds in, Burnell gets hold of a high double-leg but can't complete the takedown, as Allen bases out against the fence. Allen circles away, but Burnell walks him down and hits him to the body with a thumping kick. Allen lands a body kick of his own, sticks a few jabs and then a straight left. Burnell changes levels and completes his first takedown with just over one minute on the clock. Burnell rips Allen away from the fence and postures up in the Englishman's guard to deliver three or four hammerfists. Allen posts and stands, but he's taken down again. Allen gets up in the final 10 seconds, and he finishes the round with a trip takedown of his own.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Burnell
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Allen
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Allen

Round 2

Burnell has Allen on the ground again just 30 seconds into the round, and the Dane keeps a tight wrap on Allen from half guard to ensure the Brit stays on the mat. Allen sits up against the fence, posts and stands, but Burnell takes his back standing and rides him back to the floor. Allen springs up again and finally escapes Burnell's clutches at the halfway point of the round. Burnell torpedoes under a left hand and floors Allen with yet another takedown, this one in the center of the cage. Allen is unable to do much on the bottom, as Burnell traps Allen's left arm behind him to deliver punches on the other side. Allen manages to reclaim full guard in the final 20 seconds, but the round has been all Burnell.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Burnell
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Burnell
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Burnell

Round 3

Burnell catches a kick and runs Allen to the ground just 20 seconds into the final frame. Allen backs up to the fence, posts and stands -- but Burnell keeps his legs wrapped up and slams him straight back to the mat. Allen gets up again, now one minute into the round, and gets pressed against the fence. Burnell tries another double-leg, can't get it and comes back up to lean Allen into the fence. Burnell completes another takedown; again, Allen climbs straight back to his feet but can't find any space to escape. Burnell changes levels once more, but this time Allen is waiting with a slick figure-four guillotine setup. Allen locks up the choke and Burnell drops to the ground, trying to squirm free. Allen puts Burnell flat on his back and squeezes tight, and the Dane has to tap out.

The Official Result

Arnold Allen def. Mads Burnell via Submission (Guillotine Choke) R3 2:41

Neil Magny vs. Craig White

Round 1

White switches between stances in the opening moments, hitting Magny with a few leg kicks before moving in to clinch. The UFC newcomer shoves Magny against the fence but can't do anything with the position before Magny spins him around. Magny wraps up a bodylock and tries to trip White to the floor, but White does well to keep his balance. Magny lands an inadvertant knee to the groin, ref Leon Roberts calls time, and White needs a minute to recover. When action resumes, it's Magny looking for a clinch and pushing "Thundercat" against the fence. White tries to change levels and gets forced to the ground, then mounted by Magny. The American opts to stand over White, kicking at the Brit's legs and looking for a good opportunity. Eventually, Magny allows White to stand, and White quickly brings the fight back to the fence with another clinch. Magny catches White leaning over with his head low, then blows him up with a knee to the face. White hits the ground in a daze and tries to recover as Magny kneels over him, landing punches with both hands. After withstanding the assault for a few seconds, a pair of punches appears to knock White senseless, and referee Roberts waves an end to the bout.

The Official Result

Neil Magny def. Craig White via KO (Knee and Punches) R1 4:32

Stephen Thompson vs. Darren Till

Round 1

English referee Marc Goddard is the third man in the cage for tonight's 170-pound main event. Both southpaws line up in their wide stances and circle for 30 seconds, when Thompson switches to orthodox and misses with a quick right high kick. Nearly two minutes in, neither man has landed anything significant as they continue to fake and feint while moving in circles. Till works from the center, following Thompson around the outside. Till fires off a left hand and gets countered by a speedy one-two from "Wonderboy." Thompson sticks a right hand on Till's body, then narrowly dodges a spinning backfist from the Liverpool native. The glacial pace continues through the latter half of a round that may prove difficult for the cageside judges to score.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10

Round 2

Till once again presses out from the center, trying to back up Thompson to the fence. Thompson continues to circle the outer ring, accepting the occasional leg kick from Till and giving the Englishman some hard kicks in return. Thompson steps into the pocket and clips Till with a right hand; Till tries to clinch but only manages a glancing knee to the body before Thompson shoves him away. Each time Thompson tries to come forward with a flurry of strikes, Till puts up both hands to block the strikes and then shakes his head to tell Thompson that he didn't land. Meanwhile, Till is managing little in the way of offense aside from sporadic low kicks. Thompson looks to be baiting Till by holding his hands low and standing right in front of "The Gorilla." Till isn't biting, and so Thompson settles for landing leg and body kicks from the outside.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Till
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Thompson

Round 3

Once again, Till tries to trap Thompson by backing him up to the wall. As soon as Till threatens to burst forward with punches, however, Thompson is angling out to the side, leaving the Brit swinging at air or a defending glove. Thompson continues to work the body of Till with heavy kicks, and now clips him with a right hand as Till tries to barge inside. Till slides forward with a jab but gets his head snapped back by Thompson's counter right hand. Thompson slugs Till with a right cross and circles away with 90 seconds on the clock. Till gets a poke to the left eye from Thompson's outstretched left hand. Till says he's OK to continue, but referee Goddard wants the doctor to have a look. Till is quickly cleared to continue, and he comes back firing a big left hand at Thompson, who absorbs the punch well as he's backpedaling away when it lands.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Thompson

Round 4

Till tries to jab his way forward and instead gets his head snapped back by a Thompson jab. Thompson catches a low kick and blasts Till with a right hand over the top. Till keeps pressing forward, but even when he connects with a left hand, it barely registers as Thompson is already sliding backward. Thompson ducks under a Till combination and pops up with a counter hook. Till eats it and wraps up Thompson, pushing him against the fence. The clinch only lasts a few seconds before Till releases and whirls around with a spinning elbow. Till seems to be looking for a knockout now, lunging at Thompson with big power punches which come up empty. Thompson plunges a right hand into Till's breadbasket, then continues his evasive maneuvers to the end of the round.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-10
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Thompson
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10

Round 5

In an otherwise slow opening minute, Thompson bounces a right hand off Till's glove that leaves the Brit shaking out his left hand. Till succeeds in backing up Thompson to the fence on a few occasions, but "Wonderboy" is able to escape without punishment each time. Till doubles up on a jab that backs up Thompson to the fence, then lands a left to the temple that puts Thompson on his knees. Thompson recovers in a hurry, powering back to his feet even as "The Gorilla" tries to hammerfist him out. Thompson reaches out to put a long left on the chin of Till, who was backing up and shakes his head to say it didn't land cleanly. Thompson changes levels and takes down Till, but Till posts up and scrambles back to his feet in an instant. Inside the final minute now, Till continues to stalk Thompson around the cage. The welterweights square off in the center for the final 20 seconds, with neither man willing to commit to any big offensive attacks.

Sherdog Scores

Tristen Critchfield scores the round 10-9 Till (49-47 Thompson)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Till (48-47 Thompson)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Till (49-48 Thompson)

The Official Result

Darren Till def. Stephen Thompson via Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) R5 5:00
