Scott Holtzman vs. Anthony Christodoulou
Round 1
Christodoulou chases after Holtzman and gets clipped with a hook that backs him out of the pocket. Holtzman misses with a spinning backfist, drawing a smile from the Greek fighter. Holtzman slips throwing a punch, gets up and knocks Christodoulou to the ground with a chopping leg kick. Christodoulou bounces up, takes another hard shot to the lead leg and then eats a left hand before being pushed against the fence by the local favorite. Holtzman gets off a pair of elbows and a knee in the clinch before Christodoulou escapes; he’s only out for a few seconds before “Hot Sauce” clinches up again. More knees from Holtzman as he roughs up Christodoulou on the fence, then a cracking right hand smacks Christodoulou’s face moments after they separate. More clinching, more knees from Holtzman as the round enters its final two minutes. Christodoulou reverses and tries some knees of his own, but Holtzman turns him right back around and breaks away with a slicing elbow. Christodoulou has his head rocked back with a lead uppercut before he’s muscled agaisnt the cage again. Another uppercut scores for Holtzman just before the round ends.Sherdog Scores

Holtzman continues to press the action early in round two, keeping Christodoulou on the outside with combinations, leg kicks and brief clinches. One clinch ends with Holtzman whipping around and cracking Christodoulou’s jaw with a spinning elbow. Christodoulou comes away from another exchange pawing at his right eye. Holtzman is overwhelming with his variety of strikes, making Christodoulou wary to throw hands and keeping him constantly on his back foot. Holtzman clinches in the final two minutes but can’t trip Christodoulou to the mat. Breaking free, Christodoulou grabs for a single-leg and eats a knee for his trouble. Holtzman follows up with a bombing combination of hooks and overhands. Holtzman whiffs on a punch and Christodoulou drops to guard, grabbing for a heel hook. “Hot Sauce” defends by sitting down on top of Christodoulou and slowly extracting his right leg as the final seconds of the round tick down.Sherdog Scores

Round 3
It’s more of the same from Holtzman, battering Christodoulou around the edge of the cage with overhands and elbows, mixing in leg kicks and clinches. A trip takedown puts Christodoulou on the canvas at the base of the fence, where he immediately turtles up, allowing Holtzman to jump on his back. Rolling away from the fence, Christodoulou tries to flip over and nearly gets caught in an arm-triangle choke. He rolls over again, and now Holtzman secures back-mount with both hooks in. Christodoulou leaves his neck exposed, and Holtzman wastes no time sliding his right arm around the Greek fighter’s throat. As soon as Holtzman clasps his hands, Christodoulou has no choice but to submit. The Official Result

Round 1
Vera lands a body kick and gets rushed against the fence by Salazar, who eats a couple knees as he drives for a takedown. Just when it looks like Salazar will complete the shot, Vera hip-bumps and sweeps into armbar position as Salazar kneels. Salazar shakes off Vera to wind up in the Ecuadorian’s tight closed guard. The second minute of the fight is spent on the mat, where Vera wraps up Salazar’s wrists to prevent much pounding, though Salazar gets through with a few good elbows. Referee Josh Ward calls for work midway through the round; 20 seconds later, he brings the bantamweights back to their feet. Vera goes back to the body with three or four kicks before Salazar runs him against the fence again, this time grabbing a rear waistlock. Vera counters with a standing kimura setup, but he doesn’t have the position and Salazar spins to the front, still holding Vera’s waist. Salazar exits the clinch with a pair of elbows as the fighters step back to the center for an uneventful 30 seconds. Vera explodes with a flying knee and a punching combo at the horn, then continues to throw shots and shoves Salazar after the round ends.Sherdog Scores

Again, Vera is able to stifle Salazar’s offense on the mat by controlling his arms and wrists. Salazar peppers the body with right hands before referee Ward calls for more action. Vera is hunting for a triangle from underneath, and two minutes into the round, he snares Salazar. After scoring with elbows to the face, Vera switches to a triangle-armbar, stretching out Salazar’s right arm and eliciting a quick tap.The Official Result

The 205ers move back toward the center of the cage, where Wilson uncorks another straight left hand to the face. He follows up with a leg kick which aids Dempsey in his fall to the ground. Round 1
Saenz puts a kick on the inside of Kakai’s lead leg, and the Swede returns the favor with one to the outside. A flurry of punches from Saenz comes up short, but he catches Kakai with a hard kick to the body at the end of the combo. A left hook-overhand right and another body kick connect for Saenz, grazing Kakai’s cup on the way. Kakai says he’s alright and lands an outside leg kick as the fight continues. Saenz pulls the Thai clinch and drives three or four hard knees to the body of Kakai, who trips Saenz to the ground but can’t hold him there. Kakai pushes Saenz to the fence and drops down for a double-leg attempt as the round hits the halfway mark. Back up comes Kakai, lifting Saenz into the air with a high double and planting him at the base of the fence. Saenz posts and stands but gets tripped right back down, and he gets a warning from referee Herb Dean for grabbing the fence. Saenz stands again and is greeted by a clinch knee to the gut. Saenz answers with a collar tie and two knees of his own, then elbows Kakai on the break. Saenz lands a body kick, tries to grab a low kick from Kakai but winds up chasing him across the cage. Saenz counters Kakai with a hard right hand over the top, then eats a counter left hook as he moves forward. A stiff jab connects for Kakai, then another before Saenz swipes his face with a reaching right hook and runs him against the fence. Kakai turns the tables with a takedown of his own inside the 90-second mark. Saenz scrambles back to his feet and tags Kakai with a slashing elbow on the break. Inside leg kick from Saenz, then another. Kakai goes to the outside, sticks a jab in Saenz’s face. Saenz eats a few more jabs before going to the body of Kakai with a hard kick.Sherdog Scores

Round 3
Saenz clubs Kakai with an overhand right and then goes to the body with a knee. Kakai tries a lead uppercut to the body, but Saenz blocks it as he changes levels for a failed takedown attempt. Saenz picks the ankle of Kakai and runs him to the ground, then postures up in the Swede’s guard to land a few short left hands. He climbs on Kakai’s back and slips his left arm around his neck, but Saenz doesn’t have hooks secured and soon loses the choke. Saenz keeps Kakai pressed against the fence, escapes a brief guillotine threat and exits with an elbow upstairs. An uppercut catches Kakai coming forward before Saenz spins him against the cage again. Kakai is trying to knee in the clinch but can’t come up with clean strikes. The bantamweights jockey for position, Saenz winding up on the outside, throwing elbows which are blocked by Kakai. They separate and Kakai scores with a body blow, then presses forward on the fatigued Saenz with one minute left on the clock. Kakai digs to the body again, kicks Saenz’s lead leg and denies a takedown attempt. Saenz muscles him against the fence, but Kakai reverses and drops for a double-leg. Round 1
Gates uses his long reach to touch Ortiz with a pair of jabs and a leg kick. Ortiz grabs hold and tries to rip Gates to the ground, drawing a warning from referee Mario Yamasaki for grabbing Gates’ shorts. Ortiz grapevines the legs of Gates and finally spins him to the canvas after switching to a double-leg. He triangles Gates’ legs and grabs for his neck, but Gates slips free and powers back to his feet. The flyweights meet back in the center of the cage, where Ortiz knocks Gates aside with an overhand right. Gates is on the outside now, trying to dodge Ortiz’s offensive output. Ortiz shoots and runs him to the ground midway through the frame, landing in position for an arm-triangle choke. Gates’s head is stuffed against the fence as he defends the submission with two minutes to go. Ortiz gives up on the choke and works for mount, thumping Gates’ ribs with right hands as he does. Gates surrenders mount with more than one minute remaining and tries to wrap up Ortiz from underneath. Ortiz breaks loose and postures up but can’t find an angle for his elbows. Ortiz moves further up in the mount and gets through with a hard elbow, then a pair of punches. Gates feels them and wraps up Ortiz for the final moments of the round.Sherdog Scores

Round 2
Gates goes to the body with a push kick, tries a leaping knee and has to fend off another takedown attempt. A hard knee to the gut sends Ortiz shooting again, and he winds up holding Gates against a cage post with an underhook. Ortiz drops for a double, can’t get it and opts to knee Gates’ legs instead. Now it’s a high single-leg attempt from Ortiz, but again Gates does well to maintain his balance. Ortiz connects with a hard elbow as he breaks off, then shoots back on Gates’ legs and has to work out of a high guillotine. Three minutes left in the round and referee Mario Yamasaki warns Ortiz for grabbing the fence behind Gates’ back. Gates just can’t get out of the clinch, his back pinned to the fence by Ortiz’ underhooks. Ortiz goes to a bodylock with two minutes remaining and, after a struggle, trips Gates to the ground. Ortiz moves straight into full mount and staples Gates’ face with short elbows, then comes a little harder with right hands. More elbows force Gates to turn over, and now Ortiz secures back-mount with one hook. Gates fights his way out of a rear-naked choke, puts his back on the mat again and defends an arm-triangle choke in the final seconds. Ortiz pummels his opponent with left hands and appears close to earning a stoppage when time runs out.Sherdog Scores

Ortiz gives up the strikes and climbs on Gates’ back again, slipping one hook in and trapping Gates’ right amr. Gates tries to bury his head, but Ortiz is getting through with hard elbows while referee Yamasaki looks on from nearby. Ortiz switches to right hands, gets a warning to watch the back of Gates’ head and then steps over to full mount again. Yamasaki again warns Ortiz for strikes to the back of the head, but it’s for naught; a few seconds later, with Gates not responding, Yamasaki steps in to halt the bout. The Official Result

Round 1
Watson takes the center of the cage and presses forward on southpaw Camozzi, who grabs the Thai clinch and shoots knees up the middle. The middleweights exchange punches to the body as they grapple along the fence, Camozzi winding up in the outside position. Camozzi breaks off and snaps back Watson’s head with a jab, then a follow up left hand. Watson shoots a single-leg, gets caught in a front headlock and is pushed against the fence. Camozzi turns it into a tight guillotine, but Watson escapes by slowly sliding to the ground. Camozzi hits the standing Watson with a knee, then blocks another shot from the Englishman. Referee John McCarthy warns Watson to keep his fingers out of Camozzi’s eyes as he comes back up to clinch. Camozzi scores with a knee to the body and breaks free halfway through the round. The jab-left straight combo scores for Camozzi again, backing up Watson. A foot sweep from Camozzi puts Watson on the ground at the base of the fence, where Camozzi pounces and tries to take the back of “Kong.” Watson puts his back to the mat, giving up side control. Camozzi tries to jump on the back again and sinks in one hook with 90 seconds left in the round. Watson’s left arm is trapped, so he punches over his shoulder with the right as he defends the RNC. When Watson slips out the backdoor, Camozzi escapes to his feet. Watson connects with an elbow and then hits Camozzi in the cup with a front kick. Referee McCarthy pauses the fight, gives Camozzi a minute to recover and warns Watson for the foul. They resume with 40 seconds left and Watson goes right at Camozzi with a pair of front kicks to the gut. Watson tags Camozzi with a left hand before the middleweights clinch to end the period.Sherdog Scores

Round 2
Camozzi takes a hard kick to the inside of his lead leg but prevents Watson from stepping inside with a few long jabs. Watson drives forward, grabs a single-leg and puts Camozzi on the fence, where the ref warns Camozzi for grabbing the fence. Watson lands a knee to the groin which sends Camozzi to his knees in pain, and this one is going to cost Watson a point. Ref McCarthy tells Watson to “be in control of [his] weapons” before restarting the fight. Watson tags Camozzi with a few hard left hands, opening a cut on the American’s right cheek. He pushes Camozzi against the fence, can’t hold him there. Camozzi is still landing his jab but the pair of fouls seems to have taken some pep out of his step. Watson hugs him against the fence again midway through the round, but Camozzi breaks out within a few seconds. Camozzi shuts down a double-leg attempt and catches Watson in a front headlock, pushing him against the fence to try a guillotine as he did in round one. Again, Watson sits out of the choke and peels away Camozzi’s hands. Watson shoots a single, takes a knee to the gut along the way but comes back to hit Camozzi with a knee of his own. Now it’s Camozzi’s turn to try a single-leg takedown, but Watson denies him. Watson starts scoring with knees to the body and elbows upstairs in the final minute of the round. The middleweights swing tired punches until Watson hits a single in the last 20 seconds, landing only a pair of elbows before time runs out.Sherdog Scores

Watson scores with a few combinations and is warned to keep his hands closed by referee McCarthy. A hard elbow connects in the clinch for Watson, but he’s denied a few seconds later on a single-leg attempt. Camozzi tags Watson with a standing elbow before grabbing hold and tripping him to the ground. Watson escapes a back-take attempt from Camozzi and powers back to his feet, but he’s held against the fence by the American as the final minute ticks down. Watson throws a high knee, caught by Camozzi and converted to one last takedown. Watson gets back on his feet with 30 seconds left and marches forward on Camozzi, who places a knee and an elbow on Watson’s jaw as the fight ends.Sherdog Scores

Round 1
Bamgbose lands an outside leg kick and flicks out a hard jab to try and halt the forward progress of Hall, who tests the range on the southpaw with a few step-in knees. Hall catches a kick and trips Bamgbose to the ground, then kneels in his guard and absorbs a couple right hands to the side of the head. Bamgbose is busy underneath, so Hall stands and tries to shuck his legs but cannot. Bamgbose keeps him in guard until Hall stacks him up at the base of the fence, where the fight is paused by referee Herb Dean to replace Bamgbose’s mouthguard. When action resumes, Hall postures up and begins pounding on Bamgbose with heavy punches. Shots land from both hands of Hall, but it’s a clean left on the jaw that knocks Bamgbose senseless and sends referee Dean into action. The Official Result
Uriah Hall def. Oluwale Bamgbose via TKO (Punches) R1 2:32Ray Borg vs. Geane Herrera
Round 1
Herrera rushes across the cage but stops short of Borg, who shoots straight for a double-leg takedown and succeeds in flooring “Pulga” in the first 30 seconds. Herrera keeps an active guard underneath while Borg postures up, trying to improve position while swinging long punches. Borg passes to half guard, then catches Herrera in a one-armed guillotine when the UFC newcomer tries to flip him over the top. Herrera takes top position, but it allows Borg to tighten the choke, so Herrera puts his back to the mat again. Herrera attacks Borg’s legs but gets nowhere before Borg comes back to sock him in the face. Borg counters with a heel hook of his own, then releases to set up in half guard on Herrera’s right side. He leans across Herrera’s body to fit a kimura on the left arm, nearly taking full mount in the process. Herrera kicks him back to half guard and frees his left arm to crack Borg with a few elbows from bottom. Borg is aggressive in his attempts to pass guard, but Herrera holds him back with 90 seconds left in the round. Passing to side control on Herrera’s right, Borg throws a few knees to the body and then grabs an arm-triangle. He steps into mount, but the choke isn’t tight, his arm up on Herrera’s face. Herrera escapes the choke and tries to throw up a triangle in the closing seconds, but Borg stays heavy on top until the horn.Sherdog Scores

Round 2
Borg slips to the ground throwing a wheel kick but bounces back to his feet before Herrera can do anything. Herrera can’t defend a takedown in the center of the cage and immediately attacks Borg’s left arm with a kimura as they hit the mat. Borg frees the arm and flattens out Herrera, then hooks a leg and passes to side control, grabbing a mounted guillotine in the process. Herrera starts to panic and uses all his strength to push away Borg’s hips and loosen the choke. Herrera is free of the choke with 3:30 on the clock, but Borg is still in a dominant top position. Herrera pushes him back to guard, where Borg tries the mounted guillotine again but doesn’t come as close. Midway through the round, Herrera tries to kick Borg away and find space to throw up a triangle. Borg’s pressure is too much, keeping Herrera in tight quarters and unable to establish any offense. Still hunting for a choke on top, Borg eats a few elbows as Herrera creates a little room with butterfly guard. Shortly afterward, Borg steps over to full mount, but Herrera gets a knee inside and kicks him back to full guard. Herrera tries a triangle, then an armbar, but Borg slips out of both and finishes the round with a hammer fist to Herrera’s chest.Sherdog Scores

Round 3
Herrera lands a body kick and yanks back the leg before Borg can take him down, but seconds later, Borg floors him with a high double-leg near the center of the cage. Herrera tries an armbar, can’t get it but manages to slice open Borg’s face with a nice elbow behind it. Suddenly, Borg is spraying blood all over the canvas as he works from Herrera’s half guard. One minute into the round, referee Mario Yamasaki calls time so the cageside doctor can have a look at the cut. Borg is cleared to continue and gets restarted on top in Herrera’s half guard. He tries the topside guillotine again, switches to a D’arce choke but once again is kicked back to Herrera’s full guard. Herrera is still hunting for a submission from underneath as the fight enters its final three minutes. The bloody Borg slips out of a triangle and moves to half guard on Herrera’s right side midway through the round, and now the pace slows a bit. Suddenly, Herrera sweeps to top position and nearly mounts Borg, but he loses the position when Borg sits up and drives forward. Borg puts Herrera on his seat at the base of the fence and dodges another triangle attempt. Herrera is trying everything to finish, surely knowing he’s down two rounds to none, while Borg is clinging to top position with 65 seconds on the clock. Herrera continues to squirm and shift underneath, then fights off yet another topside guillotine by bucking and throwing knees at Borg’s body. Borg takes full mount in the final 10 seconds and attacks with punches to the head of a belly-down Herrera as time expires.Sherdog Scores

McMann takes the center of the cage, but it’s Nunes scoring first with a pair of punches. Nunes lands a heavy leg kick, caught by McMann, who fails to convert it to a takedown. Nunes breaks free as McMann tries to trip her to the mat, then backpedals to draw the Olympic wrestler forward. A wheel kick from Nunes lands on the shoulder of McMann and nearly turns into a takedown in the center of the cage. Nunes once again keeps her balance and socks McMann with a pair of punches as she exits the clinch. Nunes wins an exchange with a clubbing left hook, comes back and touches McMann with a right hand on the jaw. Nunes catches McMann spinning around on a low kick and floors her with another right hand on the mouth. Nunes tries to pound out her kneeling opponent in the center of the cage, steps into full mount and blasts McMann with heavy elbows. McMann gives up her back and kneels as Nunes unloads with a barrage of punches. When the strikes fail to produce a stoppage, Nunes wraps an arm around McMann’s throat and pulls her backward, where the rear-naked choke soon forces McMann to submit. The Official Result

Round 1
The big men line up in the center, Johnson in southpaw stance, catching Rosholt with a short counter right as the “Big Show” ducks in to throw. Rosholt digs an underhook and shoves Johnson against the fence, but Johnson resists being spun to the ground and then uses over-unders to reverse the position. The heavyweights try to trade knees in the clinch, though neither man lands anything cleanly. After having a trip thwarted, Rosholt gets off a hard knee to the gut of Johnson, who responds with his own trip takedown. Rosholt scrambles right back to his feet but eats a few left hands from Johnson as he does. Johnson leans Rosholt against the fence and gets caught in a headlock, though he doesn’t seem to be in any danger of a choke. Rosholt releases and switches to an underhook while Johnson throws short body shots. There’s not enough action for referee Herb Dean, who resets the fighters with two minutes to go. Johnson lands the counter right again before Rosholt changes levels and completes a fast takedown. Rosholt steps over to mount, then jumps off to Johnson’s right side, trying to cinch up an arm-triangle choke. Johnson defends and prevents another mount from Rosholt but can’t escape from underneath the wrestler in the final minute of the round.Sherdog Scores

Johnson separates with a few good left hands, but Rosholt turns him right back around. Rosholt bloodies Johnson with a short right hand but whiffs on the next one, allowing Johnson to reverse to outside position midway through the round. Johnson scores with an uppercut as he’s turned back around, blood leaking into his left eye from a cut on the brow. Johnson trips Rosholt to the mat with a bodylock takedown but falls over the top when he tries to jump on the Texan’s back. With two minutes remaining in the round, it’s Rosholt back on top in the middle of the cage, feeding Johnson a hard elbow to the mouth. A tired Johnson swings his way into range with a cannonball left hand that smacks the side of Rosholt’s face. Rosholt drops to his knees for a double-leg attempt, eats a couple left hands from the standing Johnson but powers back to his feet and hugs Johnson against the cage. Referee Dean immediately tells Rosholt that he needs to work to maintain the position; Rosholt responds by running Johnson to the ground with a single. Johnson sits up against the fence with Rosholt wrapped around his legs, then leans left to attack Rosholt’s right arm with a kimura. The submission doesn’t work but does allow Johnson to work back to his feet. Dean calls for action again, and now Johnson lands a few elbows to Rosholt’s body. Rosholt throws a pair of knees, blocked by Johnson’s arm, and now ref Dean breaks them up with 2:30 on the clock. Johnson is exhausted, leaning in and looking for one big punch or knee. Rosholt fakes a level change and eats a short left on the jaw to clinch with Johnson, who obliges and takes the outside position on the fence. Rosholt reverses with 90 seconds left and spends 30 holding Johnson in the clinch. Johnson reverses and finally breaks free to blast Rosholt with a right hand, an uppercut, a huge right hook. Rosholt is on wobbly legs, staggering backward as Johnson tries to finish him with tired arm punches. They reset and Brunson jacks Alvey’s jaw with some huge left hands. Alvey wobbles away, tries to grab hold of the incoming Brunson but instead loses his balance and falls to the ground. Dariush lands the leg kick again, takes one back from Johnson as the lightweights both miss with power punches. Johnson is keeping Dariush on the outside with reaching punches, and now he slams down the middle with a long right hand. Dariush dives for the legs of Johnson and again comes up empty. A leaping knee from Dariush lands on Johnson’s body, and now the Rafael Cordeiro pupil is doing better to stay out of range of Johnson’s punches. Johnson shuts down another shot from Dariush, however, and then floors him momentarily with a counter left hand. Dariush gets up, still wobbly and backs up to the fence, where Johnson walks him down and connects with a hard one-two. Dariush seems to have recovered with 30 seconds left, but when he steps into the pocket to throw, Johnson clears him out with yet another left hand. Johnson scores with a body kick and a jab before shoving Dariush against the cage at round’s end.Sherdog Scores

Round 2
Dariush opens with a body kick, dodges a counter combo from Johnson and steps back in to drive a knee to the ribs. Johnson snuffs out another long shot from Dariush, blocks a kick with his forearm and tags him with a left. Dariush tries a step-in knee and gets clobbered with an overhand left that forces him out of the center of the cage. Johnson presses out from the middle now, taking a body kick to land a body-head pair of punches. Johnson continues to score with a whipping left hand and continues to shut down all of Dariush’s takedowns. Dariush lands an uppercut and gets cracked right back with yet another counter left. Every time Dariush connects with a power shot, Johnson is waiting with that counter left. Ninety seconds remaining and Dariush tags Johnson with a short left hook, then an uppercut, but he fails on another takedown try in the middle of the cage. More left hands from Johnson in the last minute lead to another shot from Dariush, and while this one comes closer, he still cannot bring Johnson to the ground.Sherdog Scores

Round 3
Johnson looks to be the fresher fighter as the final frame begins, keeping busy on his feet as he walks forward and tags Dariush with a few jabs. The Blackzilians representative misses with a bunch of power punches but is staying busier than Dariush, who has another takedown stuffed a minute into the round. Dariush catches his man off balance and puts a short right hand on Johnson’s chin as he falls to the ground, but Johnson bounces back up, seemingly unfazed. Dariush grazes with an uppercut, snaps back Johnson’s head with a jab and has a right high kick blocked. Dariush is taking the center of the cage now, working Johnson’s lead leg with kicks on both sides. Dariush is coming alive in the final two minutes, catching Johnson with a high knee. Johnson’s had enough and blasts into the pocket with a pair of long punches that force Dariush backward. Dariush grabs the Thai plum but can’t get off with a knee before Johnson breaks loose. Johnson is the aggressor once again in the final 30 seconds, keeping Dariush on the perimeter with long punches to the body and head, and this one will go to the judges’ scorecards.Sherdog Scores

Round 1
Veteran referee John McCarthy is the third man in the cage for tonight’s 205-pound main event, with judges Richard Bertrand, Sal D’Amato and Chris Lee scoring at cageside. Teixeira catches the first kick from St. Preux and runs him against the fence for a quick double-leg takedown. The Brazilian lands in half guard on St. Preux’s right side, but the local Tennessee favorite quickly posts and scrambles up to lean against the cage. “OSP” lands a knee to the cup of Teixeira, who takes 20 seconds to recompose himself while St. Preux gets a warning to mind his kicks. OSP restarts the fight with a massive body kick which leaves Teixeira stumbling backward to the fence. St. Preux stuffs a desperate single-leg shot and drills the kneeling Teixeira’s head with elbow and punches. Teixeira gets back up and is assaulted against the fence with a double-fisted attack from St. Preux. The Brazilian weathers the storm and changes levels to floor OSP with another takedown, quickly passing to full mount. Suddenly it’s Teixeira in charge, socking St. Preux in the face with punches from mount, three minutes left in the opening frame. St. Preux gives up his back and prevents Teixeira from establishing both hooks, scrambling back to his feet with 2:20 remaining. Teixeira presses him against the cage, drops down for another double and runs St. Preux to the canvas in the middle of the cage. OSP leans right and fishes for a kimura, but he doesn’t have the angle. He gives up his back again, and this time Teixeira seems closer to establishing back-mount. St. Preux shakes a hook once again and rolls Teixeira to his back, changing the momentum of the fight again. Teixeira is holding OSP in a headlock, putting him in danger of a shoulder choke as St. Preux moves to side control with under a minute remaining. Teixeira scrambles up in the last 20 seconds, his right eye dripping blood, and stuffs a shot from St. Preux.Sherdog Scores

Round 2
Teixeira absorbs a body kick and comes forward swinging, then catches a body kick and foors OSP with a quick takedown in the center. Right back on his feet is St. Preux, moving to the perimeter, where Teixeira walks him down and digs into the body with a left hand. Teixeira shoots a double, lifts St. Preux and slams him down at the base of the fence, landing in half guard. There’s not much action on the ground as the round hits the two-minute mark, St. Preux doing well to wrap up Teixeira and negate the space for strikes. Teixeira breaks out midway through the round and lands a couple elbows before he’s entangled again. St. Preux hooks the near leg of Teixeira and tries to sweep, but the Brazilian holds him down and makes him cover up with brutish elbows to the face. OSP sits up, takes a knee to the body and climbs back to his feet with 30 seconds remaining. St. Preux breaks loose and comes alive in the last seconds of the round, popping Teixeira with a couple punches on the fence.Sherdog Scores

Round 3
Teixeira grabs for St. Preux’s legs and gets shoved away, but comes back upstairs with a hard left hook, then a follow-up right. Teixeira stuffs a shot from OSP, stands him up and grabs a rear waistlock which he turns into a takedown. Referee McCarthy warns Teixeira to mind his finger in St. Preux’s face as they fight in close quarters on the canvas. OSP is looking tired as he remains unable to free himself from beneath Teixeira in the middle of the cage. Teixeira steps over to mount and works for an arm-triangle choke at the midway point of the round and the fight. St. Preux rolls to his side as Teixeira gives up on the choke and unloads with heavy ground-and-pound, elbows and punches. As soon as OSP rolls to his stomach, Teixeira latches on a rear-naked choke. It’s not under the chin at first, but once Teixeira adjusts and cinches the RNC, St. Preux appears on the verge of tapping. Before he can, the choke renders OSP unconscious and referee McCarthy waves off the bout. The Official Result
