The Professional Fighters League Challenger Series continues to set events for this year, with the next on the docket coming between featherweights.

A press release on Thursday stated that the promotion’s fourth Challenger Series showcase will take place between competitors in the 145-pound division. The eight featherweight prospects vying for a single spot on the roster or a developmental deal for future appearances will hit the cage on March 11 inside the Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. The Dana White's Contender Series-inspired series will air every Friday starting on Feb. 18 for eight weeks of events.

Previous PFL Challenger Series cards include one for light heavyweights on Feb. 18, the second between welterweights on Feb. 25, and the March 4 four-piece of women’s lightweights. All of these events are intended to feature four fights per card, and it is not clear which weight class or classes will draw the attention of the final two shows this season.

Eight contenders eyeing a place among the PFL featherweights include the following newcomers to the promotion: EFC Global champ Reinaldo Ekson, talented wrestler and Legacy Fighting Alliance vet Edwin Cooper Jr., Eternal MMA product Aaron Blackie out of Australia, Roufusport prospect Scottie Stockman, South Korea’s Do Gyeom Lee, 2021 upstart Brahyan Zurcher, National Fighting Championship featherweight king Josh Blyden and knockout-minded “Iron” Mike Barnett.

Noting that the featherweight division is among the best in the business, PFL President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo spoke highly of this lineup, stating, “Featherweights have a blend of power and speed that make it one of the most entertaining divisions in MMA. We have a talented roster of up-and-coming fighters looking to prove themselves and I’m looking forward to them facing off in Orlando.”

The entirety of the PFL Challenger Series can be viewed for free on the Fubo Sports Network, which is a live network under the FuboTV umbrella. The fight cards will all air at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on their respective dates.
