“I love it. If you want to do your UFC debut this is amazing to do it on,” De Castro said to Sherdog.com. "I have a great opponent, like a game guy, on one of the biggest cards of the year. This is a dream come true, I’m excited.”
However, De Castro could be heading into hostile territory when he faces Australian Justin Tafa in Melbourne on Saturday night. He nonetheless believes the pressure is on his opponent.
“I don’t really care, I’m an underdog in life. I have always been fighting in my opponents backyard,” he said. "My fight against Alton Meeks, I wasn’t supposed to win, so I like it. If anything the pressure is on him, he needs to win in front of his family, and I’m going into spoil it.”
De Castro expects a very tough fight. He knows he has the power to end the fight but is preparing for three rounds.
“This is the UFC, it is a different level. I expect a tough fight, I am preparing for three hard rounds. But, I have power in my hands and legs so this fight could end at anytime,” he sad.
