Titan FC 31 Weigh-Ins: Ricci Misses Weight; Bout with Yoshida Now a Non-Title Affair

Mike Ricci was unable to make weight for his 155-pound title bout against Yoshiyuki Yoshida at Titan Fighting Championship 31.
As a result, their matchup becomes a non-title, 157-pound catchweight affair. In addition, Ricci was fined 20 percent of his fight purse.

A contestant on Season 16 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Ricci is 2-0 under the Titan FC banner, posting triumphs over Jorge Gurgel and George Sotiropoulos in his first two appearances. Yoshida, meanwhile, is 6-0 since 2011; he most recently outpointed Shigetoshi Iwase at Deep 65 Impact in March.
The Titan FC 31 co-headliner pits former WEC champion Miguel Torres (145) against ex-Bellator talent Desmond Green in a featherweight tilt. Three more bouts round out the main card, as Ken Hasegawa (205.4) meets Matt Thompson (204.2), Hayder Hassan (170.6) takes on Felipe Portela (171), Jose Figueroa (169.6) squares off against Tyler Stinson (170.8).
